We are deeply saddened by the horrific news of the devastation, loss of life, and displacement of so many, following the tragic explosion in Beirut on 4 August 2020. As one of our closest regional neighbours the beautiful country of Lebanon, with its wonderful and talented people is close to our hearts, and the images and news coming out of Beirut moved all in the firm to rally behind our friends, family and colleagues in Lebanon and lend support during their time of need.
As a small gesture of solidarity the firm’s staff mobilized to collect and donate medical supplies, and other essential items including food, dry stores, and baby items. It is with a sense of pride and optimism that we confirm that 14 boxes of goods left our Limassol headquarters earlier today to join in the massive effort towards trying to assist our dear friends in this difficult time. This ongoing humanitarian effort does not end here and our people have expressed their willingness to stand with the Lebanese people and continue assisting in whatever way they can.
All of us send our deepest sympathy and condolences to all those affected by this tragic event, and pray that our resilient brothers and sisters in Beirut will find the strength to rise above these dark times and return to a life of peace, health and prosperity.
