Limassol Economic Forum goes online 30 October 2020.

Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is again proud to sponsor the 2020 Limassol Economic Forum.  The Forum is the most important annual business conference in Cyprus attracting senior business executives, academics, politicians, and a variety of public officials from around the world. In a break with tradition, due to Covid 19 restrictions, this year’s conference will be taking place online.  It will still, however, feature a host of internationally respected speakers with the keynote address being delivered by Martin Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator and Associate Editor of the UK Financial Times. Rather aptly, this years’ conference theme will be “What it takes to be a CEO in the 2020s”.

During the past 20 years CEOs across the globe have constantly confronted with change and disruptions ranging from terrorist attacks and economic crises through to increased regulation, technological advances, and a global pandemic.  Never has forecasting and budgeting been fraught with so much uncertainty. The 11th Limassol Economic Forum aims to assist corporate leaders in their efforts to manage through such extreme disruption.  It will examine the key leadership attributes needed to steer a business through turbulent times and explore the merits of embracing new management trends and ideas.  Included as a headline speaker is our managing partner, Elias Neocleous.  Elias will be one of four local business leaders providing a Cyprus perspective of the challenges facing a modern CEO in a ‘Fireside Chat’ from 12.00 to 12.40.

Attendance at the Limassol Economic Forum is by invitation only.  Details of the full programme are available here.  We hope and believe that our distinguished guests will find the event both enjoyable and informative.
