Chrysanthos heads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department, focusing on cross-border disputes for multinational enterprises, high net worth individuals, and financial entities. Renowned for his involvement in some of Cyprus’ largest litigation disputes, Chrysanthos boasts a consistent track record of success and is the preferred litigator for leading international law firms in their private matters. His expertise spans a wide array of commercial litigation areas, including corporate litigation, shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, fraud, trusts, and international trade, alongside a profound capability in urgent injunctive relief cases.

Chrysanthos’s career is also distinguished by representing international banks, financial institutions, multinational corporations, and high-net-worth individuals in significant litigation claims and commercial disputes across courts and arbitral tribunals. His contributions extend to the forex sector, major construction projects, disputes over Russian oil terminals, and complex cases involving international telecommunications entities.

Additionally, he provides strategic advice on dispute resolution, enforcement risks, and acts for judgment creditors in recognizing and enforcing foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Cyprus, demonstrating his comprehensive expertise in navigating complex legal challenges.

  • Advising and representing multinational enterprises and high net-worth individuals in multi-million commercial disputes before courts and arbitral tribunals.
  • Advising and acting for leading forex companies in relation to court claims and regulatory issues.
  • Advising and acting for some of the world’s largest construction businesses and jointventures in relation to the largest and most notable procurement projects undertaken in Cyprus, including Larnaca International Airport and the Paphos-Polis motorway project.
  • Advising and representing a Cyprus holding company in a shareholders’ dispute over Russian oil terminals.
  • Advising and representing a major international telecommunications entity on multijurisdictional settlement and litigation.
  • Providing strategic advice on drafting dispute resolution provisions and on enforcement risks.
  • Acting for judgment creditors in proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Cyprus.
